Technology Powered. Human Led.™

Your digital strategy will be executed by people.

Most organizations know far more about the technology they are buying than about the people who will have to run it. The technology is only ever as good as the human systems around it — so we map where the tension, friction and failure points sit before you fund the rollout, rather than after.

No pitch deck. A scoping conversation about the investment you are planning, and what is currently unmeasured.

The conversation already in your boardroom

They expect AI to force a high-to-medium change to their operational capabilities.

Gartner, survey of 469 CEOs and senior business executives, published April 2026.

“Operational capability” is a polite way of saying how your people work. Digital and AI enablement fundamentally shifts how work gets done in an organization — who decides, who approves, who is needed, and who is exposed.

This is not a technology problem — and it is the one part of the programme that routinely goes unmeasured.

What we already knew

Most digital initiatives don't fail on the technology.

They fail because the organization underestimated the people side of the change — and by the time that becomes visible, the money is already spent. These are our own published figures, from the Digital Dexterity Playbook.

9%
of employees show true digital dexterity
$4.53
returned for every $1 invested in organizational development
$2–6M
wasted on a failed transformation in a 1,000-person company
4–8mo
average overrun when the people side is skipped

Technology adoption, with and without the people work

You are not just buying software. You are buying the proportion of your organization that will actually use it. That proportion is the return, and it is determined by people rather than by the platform.

What is your investment actually worth?

Move the slider to your planned technology spend.

$2.0M
In use without the people work$180K–$600K
In use with it$1.2M–$1.6M
The difference: $600K–$1.4M more of the investment actually in use.

Illustrative: your spend multiplied by the adoption ranges above. Not a forecast for your organization — that is what the assessment is for.

What we measure

We identify where you are — and the roadmap to get where you need to be.

The change is inevitable. It can also be mapped — clearly — when you have evidence to support it. These are the three questions our two assessments answer about any digital or AI programme.

The Alignment Check

Where will it break?

Which structures, processes, culture pockets and teams are misaligned, fractured — or genuinely doing well. Measured across the whole population, before you fund anything.

You get the failure points named and located, not predicted.
The AMC Leadership Simulation

Who will carry it?

Which leaders have the competencies to move through this change. Which will be champions. Which will quietly stall it. Measured on decisions under pressure, not on tenure or interview performance.

You get your champions identified before you need them.
Both, run together

How will they respond?

The predictable behavioural response of your organization — from the day you announce it, through to implementation and the months after.

You get the reaction mapped, so the rollout plan can absorb it.

Both assessments are set out in full — scope, timeline, deliverables and what you receive — on What We Do.

Where we were standing

We didn't pivot to digital change. Digital change arrived where we already were.

We open-sourced this work when it was still called digital transformation. Nothing about our method changed when the acronym did.

The demand came from both sides of the transaction — the companies deploying the technology and the organizations receiving it. We built the Preparedness Assessment and the playbook to answer it.

In short

Digital change is a people problem with a technology budget attached.

The platform decision belongs to you and your vendors. What we do is tell you, before the money moves, whether your organization can absorb the change you are about to fund and which of your leaders will carry it — measured on evidence rather than predicted from a plan.
